Intellectual property

The text, photographs, illustrations, logo and design of this site belong to Shaathi Foundation or to the people who licensed them to us, unless stated otherwise. Our menstrual health education materials are shared for use in schools and community settings — contact us if you would like to use them, and we will usually say yes.

Product information

We describe our reusable sanitary napkins as accurately as we can, including sizes, absorbency and expected service life. Photographs are indicative, and manufacturing means individual items may vary slightly.

Product availability, specification and pricing can change without notice.

Our menstrual health information is general education, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It cannot take account of your circumstances.

If you have pain, unusual bleeding, an infection, or any other concern about your health, speak to a qualified healthcare professional. Do not delay seeking help because of something you read here.

Donations and payments

Where you donate to us, the terms shown at the point of donation apply in addition to these terms. We will tell you before you give if a donation is restricted to a particular programme. Donations are used to deliver our charitable work, including the running costs required to deliver it.

If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us and we will look into it.

Links to other websites

We link to news coverage, partner organisations and our social media profiles. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other side of it.

What you send us

When you contact us through the site, please do not send confidential information about a third party, and do not send anything unlawful, abusive or misleading. How we handle what you do send is set out in our Privacy Policy. If your message raises a safeguarding concern, our Safeguarding Policy explains how it is handled.

We try to keep the site available and its content current, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or up to date at every moment. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Figures we publish about our impact are stated with the period and source they come from. Where a figure is an estimate or a target rather than a measured result, we say so.
